Chicken Alfredo Skillet

Ingredients
- •2 chicken breasts, sliced
- •Salt to taste
- •Pepper to taste
- •1 lb fettuccine
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
- •2 cups heavy cream
- •1 cup grated Parmesan
- •2 tbsp butter
Steps
- 1.Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
- 2.Season the chicken with salt and pepper and sear in butter in a large skillet until browned and cooked through; set aside.
- 3.Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds, then add the cream and simmer until slightly thickened, then whisk in the Parmesan.
- 4.Toss the pasta and chicken in the sauce, loosening with the reserved pasta water as needed, before serving.
