Egg in a Basket

Ingredients

• •1 slice bread
• •1 egg
• •1 tbsp butter
• •Salt to taste
• •Pepper to taste

Steps

1. 1.Cut a hole in the center of the bread slice using a cup or cookie cutter, keeping the cut-out round.
2. 2.Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and lay the bread and the cut-out round in the pan.
3. 3.Crack the egg into the hole and cook for 2-3 minutes until the white sets, flipping the round separately once golden.
4. 4.Flip the bread carefully and cook for another 1-2 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
