Homemade Granola
Oats and nuts baked with honey until golden and crunchy, pressed firmly onto the pan and left undisturbed as it cools - stirring granola right after baking is why most homemade batches turn out loose and crumbly instead of clustery, and a pinch of salt and vanilla round out the sweetness.

Ingredients
- •3 cups rolled oats
- •1 cup chopped almonds
- •1/2 cup honey
- •1/3 cup vegetable oil
- •1 tsp cinnamon
- •1/4 tsp salt
- •1 tsp vanilla extract
- •1 cup dried cranberries
Steps
- 1.Preheat oven to 325°F.
- 2.Toss the oats and almonds with honey, oil, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla until evenly coated.
- 3.Spread onto a baking sheet and press down firmly into an even layer - pressing is what creates clusters instead of loose, crumbly granola.
- 4.Bake for 25-30 minutes, without stirring, until golden.
- 5.Cool completely without disturbing the pan, then break into clusters and stir in the dried cranberries.
