Ingredients
- •1 lb sushi-grade tuna, cubed
- •1/4 cup soy sauce (shoyu)
- •1 tbsp sesame oil
- •2 green onions, sliced
- •1 tbsp sesame seeds
- •1/4 sweet onion (Maui or Vidalia), thinly sliced
- •1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- •3 cups cooked sushi rice
- •1 cucumber, diced
- •1 avocado, sliced
Steps
- 1.Toss the tuna cubes with soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, sesame seeds, sweet onion, and red pepper flakes if using.
- 2.Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour, handling the fish gently so it doesn't break apart.
- 3.Divide the rice among bowls.
- 4.Top with the marinated tuna, cucumber, and avocado.
- 5.Serve chilled.
